Golden Change Inc.’s programs and services empower ethnically diverse communities, with an emphasis on the Latino Community in the Metropolitan New Orleans area in building self-confidence and improving conflict resolution skills. Its goal is to change peer culture in schools and communities to prevent the increasing violence often associated with lack of self esteem and substance abuse.  The programs focus on social skills development and dealing with anger and domestic violence prevention. Through aggressive intervention, issues such as lack of self-esteem, anxiety, stress, and depression, inability to adapt to social environments, and substance abuse, are corrected through solution-oriented positive reinforcement.

This model is constructed to challenge participants to think critically and reflectively about their lives, and change abusive behavior.
